Kathy is a licensed Realtor and a member of the Middle Tennessee Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. She is a designated Accredited Buyers' Representative (ABR), the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation, which is awarded to realtors who meet specified educational and practical experience criteria. Kathy received the "Silver Award" in 2005 and was elected by her colleagues for the "Whale Done" award, acknowledging her positive attitude in helping others. On a personal level, Kathy is honored to work with children. To support her own two daughters, she served as PTO president of Roy Waldron Elementary School and leads a wonderful Girl Scout troop! In addition, she serves on the Parent Advisory Committee for Rutherford County Schools. Kathy received a B.A. in Journalism/Broadcasting from Murray State University, Murray, Ky. She was the communications manager for the National Association of State Treasurers and was a founding staff member of the College Savings Plans Network and State Debt Management Network. By working with these organizations, Kathy was able to serve the public by assisting state-level officials in a variety of public financing needs. Kathy's community work today is more direct. She dedicates a portion of every commission to the national "Make A Wish Foundation" and is actively involved in the annual "Christmas for the Children" program of middle-Tennessee and fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society. Kathy cares about making a difference. She knows people trust her to help them with one of the biggest decisions they'll make in their lifetime. Her customers and clients stay loyal and refer friends & family because they know she will do whatever it takes to make sure everything goes smoothly from beginning to end.
